Ashthorne HiFi exists for people who care about the craft behind sound. We work on vintage equipment because it was built to be serviced, measured, calibrated, and kept alive.
A recap is not a cosmetic exercise. It is reliability engineering: power integrity, correct values, correct placement, careful soldering, and verification that the circuit behaves as intended afterwards.
Where suitable, work is documented with internal photography and a clear parts summary. The goal is confidence: quiet operation, stable behaviour, and the character that made the unit worth owning in the first place.
